Evan Davis Golf

Evan lettered 5 years at Belmont University.  Some of his accomplishments are:

 

• 2021 & 2022 Ohio Valley Conference Player of the Year

• 2021 Ohio Valley Conference Tournament Co-Medalist

• Holds school and conference record for season scoring at 70.2 (2021).

• 2-Time NCAA Regional Qualifier (2011-2022)

• 3-time OCV Scoring Leader (2020, 2021 & 2022)

• Has 5 collegiate tournament wins, including tournament scoring records at the 2019 Pinetree Intercollegiate and the 2020 Murray State Invitational

• Named 2021 PING Division I All-Region by the Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA).

• Named Belmont University Athletics Male Athlete of the Year for 2021.

• Co-Medalist at 2022 Kentucky Amateur, becoming 1 of only 10 players in the 100+ year history of KY Golf to medal in both the State Am and State Open.

• Co-Medalist at 2019 Kentucky Open, tying the 100 year scoring record of 19 under par (54 hole event).

• Current USGA handicap index is  +5.8

• 2-time Ohio Valley Conference All-Tournament Team 2018 & 2021

• Recipient of the inaugural Sportsmanship Award presented by Christian Academy of Louisville and voted on by the KY Golf Coaches Association and the Kentucky Junior Golf Foundation.

• Won 2016 & 2017 KY PGA Jr. Tour Championships

• Won 2017 Golfweek Junior Tour tournament at Keene Run

• Won 2016 HJGT Winter Classic at Kiawah Island - Ocean Course

• Won 2016 Golfweek Junior Tour tournament at Keene Run
